When St. Paul MN based non-profit Compatible Technology International approached PFC regarding some custom images for a fund raising presentation, I knew just how they felt. Clip art can be, you know, so clip-art-y. Canned. Impersonal. Nothing at all like this dynamic organization and its mission to impact global hunger and water issues with simple, practical technology. PFC created over 80 custom images to illustrate supply chain, farmers, factories, third world crops and even hard-hat wearing factory workers.

PFC also created thank-you mugs for beta testers and collaterals, including a PowerPoint template and comment card.

Another slightly tropical venture in cocktail land. Just the way I like it! Not only does this Pineapple Margarita encompass the cocktail trifeca (spicy, salty, sweet) but I was surprised how nicely the tequila and the pineapple juice played together (but they had to get along or that jalapeno would kick their @sses!) … anyway check out the recipe on Tablespoon.com.

Check out this article from the December issue of Woman’s World – great tips for maintaining one’s girly composure during the holidays (or frankly during any hectic or busy time – AKA life). I hesitate to add that I contributed a tip of my own (upper right hand corner of second page of the attachment) AND that it will provide a means for reading my very own sane-ometer. (Eeep! I’ve said too much . . . )

OMG. This was our FAVORITE holiday project. Not only were the photos gorgeous, but at the end of the shoot, we were left with a big, fat bottle of fresh ginger syrup. And. It. Makes. Any. Cocktail. Spectacular. In fact, next Christmas, I’m giving up gifting and making everyone I know and love a bottle of this magical elixir, tied with a simple golden bow. Yes. It’s that fab.
